In 2021, Engage Work Faith staged “Better than Us”, a discussion of the burgeoning AI industry. Four years on and we are saturated with LLM’s, various chatbots and digital human avatars. What was barely visible on the horizon is now well and truly part of our landscape….. and in our hands.
Will AI replace us? Our creativity, our jobs, our common sense? What makes us uniquely human? Do we embrace it warmly or cautiously? Could the Bible itself unlock a wisdom to navigate this rapidly changing world of technology despite being written before AI was even developed?
We are especially excited about our human guest keynote speaker, Stephen Driscoll (author of Made in Our Image – God, artificial intelligence and you) who is also visiting Adelaide for the Evangelical Students’ National Training Event. The evening will also include a high-level panel discussion with expert guests, Christopher Foster-McBride & Luke Heffernan. This will be an essential discussion for any humans thinking about their future.
